Get Pumped Up with Marcus Cor Von's Fitness Tips!

Check in weekly as Marcus reveals the ultimate in his workout tips and tricks. Marcus will help you get pumped up and look great this summer! Don't forget to keep checking in every week!

Marcus Cor Von Fitness Tips:

  1. WEEK 1: Stop wasting time training with programs that aren't completely customized and specific. The best thing to do is start with a trainer so you'll receive personalized training programs based on your specific goals. You don't have to use a trainer forever, but to start, it's a must.
  2. WEEK 2: Make sure you give yourself a good warm up. Doing cardio for a warm up exercise helps build your physical endurance, increases your breathing, and helps burn the fat away. It's a good start before hitting the weights since your body is already moving.
  3. WEEK 3: Move More. Find ways to keep your body moving throughout the day. Take a walk around the outside of your office building instead of going to sit in a friend’s office and talk. Take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood when you get home from work. Take the stairs whenever possible. Always try to be on the move!
  4. WEEK 4: Cut Fat. Do your best to find fat-free or low fat foods. If you like hamburgers, try turkey burgers, or try reduced fat meat. The taste isn’t drastically different. Same goes for cheese – There are PLENTY of low fat cheeses out there that taste just as good as ones that are high in fat. Eat wheat bread vs. white bread – You will find yourself dropping pounds but just cutting the fat out!
  5. WEEK 5: Reduce Stress. Nothing beats working out to get myself stress free. Take your aggravations from the day and put them to work in the gym; use them for motivation. Intense focus on working out is enough to reduce your stress levels and make you feel 100% better.
